I did try to pull it back up to see about my spare tire in the rope that you pull with already broke off. I don’t like that so in my paper come in and I go back to get my license. Recently made an appointment for 2023 Accord. Showed up at the appointed time and was told it was minimum 3-4 days due to issues Doggett was having. We were not told this before we showed up and were not able to leave the car. A loaner was not available. Today, 3/10/25, called again to set up service for recall - a recall that could potentially cause a catastrophic fire. Ref: Tailgate Harness Recall Had a 10AM appointment. I was told it would take 2-3 hrs. Arrived at 3:30 and nothing was done. Was told they will see when a tech. was available. Likely the next day. This has happened before on a mirror recall. Seems my recall repair was delayed in favor of more profitable service. HORRIBLE communication & service.

No coupons for oil change, no bowl of snacks, no can sodas, no carwash or multi point inspection done correctly.Said my car checked out great, everything was fine. But i have 1 worn tire with a knot on the wall that is very noticeable. The oil change was 59.95 plus tax total 67$. . I am praying everything with the oil change was done correctly. I seen new faces in sales. No one walking by spoke to the customers in the waiting area. In the past, the sales team would stop and speak.. always. You can tell this is not Mike Smith Honda. ...

Albert the salesman was great. When you're told they payment will be a certain amount and they don't tell you gap insurance etc is going to raise it up... A lot. That's my only gripe. It was more per month than I wanted to spend. So it left me with a little bit of a bad taste towards the company.

My service rep Jennifer was exceptional and friendly. Explained everything to me and was able to setup shuttle drop off and pickup.

Chris Darden and Danny White were, and are the greatest. They represent Doggett Honda well and these two gentlemen own their job, and are the face of Doggett Honda of Beaumont, Tx. We miss Mike Smith, greatly. Doggett has extensive work to do, within their business structure to gain the trust of this community. This community expects nothing but the best, sans Chris Darden and Danny White. Superb service from the two fine gentlemen.

For the service center. Very poor, negative communication. Service manager stood by two service writers, when the were rude, wrong, and have a very nasty attitude. Beware, because the service manager stands behind two very disrespectful service writers. I would not even give these individuals a 1

Slow, I arrived 20 minutes before anyone else and it took over 2 hours for oil change and tire rotation. Wanted to charge me 233 dollars to fix a factory defect on a piece of plastic on back door of a car not 2 years old. To top it off their lawn guy blew dirt and grass all over my car with leaf blower while I was waiting for them to finish paperwork. I’m sure I can get better and faster service without having to drive 30 minutes both ways.

Mike Smith's level of service has declined over the years. My mom has come to this company for oil / brake changes for years on her 2016 Honda Pilot. First, your service staff are great. Trying to call your svc department is a nightmare. People want to talk to real people. Over the years I have purchased five Honda vehicles from Mike Smith Honda. I'm a loyal customer. But, to have to deal with a robot when I call in is a waste of my time. There is a Nissan dealership close to my home and they want to service my two current vehicles.

Brought vehicle in for a recall replacement of seatbelt. A free service. Was told it would take an hour and a half, approximately. No problem. I get a text saying I'd requested tires looked at and a quote for over $600 for 2 new tires and an alignment stating it is needed and approval to do the work I had requested no such service.
